Fitpower llc scholarship
FitPOWER's mission includes helping people discover new and different ways to move their body. One of the first steps in aiding this mission is to make programs accessible. The FitPOWER Scholarship uses funds raised through apparel sales and donations made by its members and community. It functions as a mutual aid project to provide services to its LGBTQIA & BIPOC communities in the form of Partial (6 month) or Full (12 month) martial art membership opportunities, 4 session or 8 session for 3 months small group/online coaching memberships, and 3 month open gym memberships.
How to Apply:
Have you been curious about Barbell or Martial Arts (jiu jitsu, judo, kickboxing) and need some assistance? Are you part of the LGBTQIA &/or BIPOC community or an ally? Fill out the scholarship application and we'll contact you if we have scholarships available to get you started!
How to Help:
You can directly impact your community in a positive way and we offer many opportunities to contribute. Remember, this is a mutual aid effort. Any contribution is are not tax-deductable because we are not a non-profit. We hold our scholarship recipients accountable by requiring they average one martial art class per week or 4 weeks of training. Follow any of the links below to contribute!
