This training focuses on techniques like direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application, teaching participants how to save lives in emergency situations.

Havenwood State forest clean upJoin us one Saturday per month at Havenwood State Forest and help keep our city gems healthy for incoming generations of nature lovers. We do everything from trail maintenance to planting native plants and trees.

Participants should be able to transition safely and without assistance from a standing to a lying-down position, and from a lying-down to a standing position. Class description: We all go to the ground sooner or later. Learn how to perform a fall safely, how to move while on the ground, and how to get back up thoughtfully. Build foundations for strong ground mobility that can keep you more confident in often-challenging ranges of motion. Class will cover:

Comfy gym vibes WorkshopFeeling comfortable in a new gym space really is a vibe, and discomfort is a big reason many people sign up but don’t show up. If this sounds like you then this workshop might be your ticket!
In this 60 minute workshop we’ll show you different equipment and how to use it correctly. Everything from setting up J-Hooks (what’s that?), safety bars (huh?), and knowing the difference between a slam ball and a medicine ball (if you’ve ever slammed a medicine ball your face knows why this is important)!
